Sun Salutation

Venice has an endless list of unique known and hidden things to see, taste, experience, and even smell! No matter how much time one spends here, there will always be something left to sense. Here is a partially hidden experience that should not be overlooked, and is easy to cross off your list.

Today, I was motivated to see the sun rise over Venice for my first time. I am not one to wake up before the break of dawn, but I am incredibly glad I did. Accompanied by friends, watching the sky shift from hues of blue to purple to pink, we walked up to Punta della Dogana, the tip of the island. Instantly, we were immersed by the temporary golden water and distant pastel islands. Mesmerized, we greeted the calm rising sun.
